| PEDiNOL® Launches New Line Of Professional Blister Care Products |
FARMINGDALE, NY—July 1, 2010—PEDiNOL Pharmacal Inc. is proud to unveil its newest line of products, PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag Professional Blister Care dressings. These dressings are specially made with a proprietary hydrocolloid adhesive formulation.
PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag, sterile and latex free dressings, are designed to be flexible and conformable, easily fitting difficult areas of the feet, heels and toes. They provide a waterproof, mechanical barrier to external contaminants, which, if left untreated, can cause infection. Once applied over blisters, the dressings create a moist wound environment which facilitates the healing process of blisters better than conventional bandages. The dressings, which may be left on for up to 7 days, provides around the clock blister care and skin protection.
“Although blisters may not be the primary reason for a patient to visit their podiatrist, they do often come up in conversation as a secondary ailment”, states Gary Strauss, CEO of PEDiNOL. “Providing specialized products for podiatrists is what our company prides itself on. PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag dressings offer an effective blister care solution which both podiatrists, and their patients, will benefit from.”
PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag dressings are designed to be patient friendly, allowing podiatrists to provide personalized care for their patient’s blisters. Podiatrists can mix and match the amount of toe and heel dressings they recommend to continue patient care and therapy, according to their patient’s individual needs. Toe and heel dressings will be available for continued patient care exclusively through their foot doctor.
PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag Blister Care Kit is specifically designed for continued at-home patient care and contains 6 heel dressings and 4 toe dressings. PEDiNOL’s Nourishing Cream, which is formulated with Vitamin E and A to help promote healthy skin, is also provided in the kit. Podiatrists may purchase the Blister Care Kit online at www.pedinol.com and direct patients to do the same.
Richard Strauss, R.Ph., President of PEDiNOL, is very confident in the new blister care line stating, “I'm certain customers will be impressed with both the functionality and efficacy of PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag dressings. Podiatrists are seeing the value of continuing patient care with this product and the positive effect it has on patient convenience and satisfaction.”
PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag Dressings are available exclusively from PEDiNOL Pharmacal, Inc. Podiatrists may place an order or learn more about PEDiNOL’s Hydro ARMOR Ag Professional Blister Care Product Line by calling 1-800-PEDiNOL or contacting their PEDiNOL sales representative.
